3/3/13 SG River

Arrived around 11am.  Water level very low.  Very skittish fish at fallen tree/quiet pool around 2.5miles.  None caught here.  Most fish rising near top of pools where oxygen levels are higher.  Frequent rises seen after gloomy morning hours, when sun starts hitting the water.  12-2pm.

First fish caught a little past Rainbow Trout platform, around bend.  Fast, knee-deep water around 12:30am, caught on sz 16 Stimulator on first roll-cast with 10feet of line out.  Around 6inches.

 

Golden colored 6.5inch, caught past huge brush pile around 4 miles in.  sz 16 stimulator.  1:30pm
